Inauguration of a Health Center in the Peruvian Nestled at 3,500 meters (11,500 feet) above sea level in the Peruvian Andes, Casgabamba is a small village of approximately 50 families in the district of Sarín, La Libertad, Peru.
The inauguration of its new health center became much more than an official ceremony—it was a celebration of hope, identity, and community. Families gathered from surrounding villages to celebrate with traditional music, dancing, colorful clothing, communal meals, and expressions of pride.
These photographs document a memorable day when healthcare, cultural traditions, and community spirit came together in one of Peru's remote Andean communities.
